The Wheeling University Women's Golf team were set to get the third and final round of the 2026 Findlay Spring Invitational underway this morning from Richmond, Kentucky, however due to below freezing temperatures in the area, the final round was cancelled. The weather played a big part in the first two rounds also for the Cardinals, as gusts of 40 miles per hour were seen for the duration of the first two rounds. The Cardinals would finish the first two rounds in 15^th place, with Senior Ella Keffer being the Cardinals best performer, shooting 90, 86, for a tie for 65^th.

The Wheeling University Women's Golf team return to action on Monday, March 23^rd, when they travel to Cherokee Valley Golf Club in South Carolina for the Trailblazer Spring Invitational, in what should be some better weather.
