Statistics and Media Services
Game notes, programs and cumulative statistics will be furnished to the working media prior to game time. Complete statistical information will be available to the media at the conclusion of all Wheeling home athletic events. Telephone lines and wireless internet are available for media use at select athletic venues. Please contact a member of the Sports Information staff ahead of time to request usage of this service.
Interviews
We ask that all requests for player and coach interviews be made through the Sports Information Director. Pre-event and feature story interviews should be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Post-event interviews of student-athletes and coaches will be available following a 10-minute "cooling off" period after each home game. Post-game interviews of visiting players and coaches will be available upon request.
Credentials
Credentials are limited to working print and electronic media representatives and to others whose duties make necessary the use of press row. Photography credentials are also available to the media and must be requested. Please direct all requests for working credentials to the Sports Information Director at least 48 hours in advance of an event being covered.
Audio and Video Streaming
The Sports Information office will provide live video streaming of select events throughout the season on "
mountaineast.tv/wheeling". All archived footage can also be found on that page.
Photography
Photography is permitted at all Wheeling athletics events. Photographers shooting from the playing field level must make a sports information or University staff member aware of their work and must follow all NCAA guidelines concerning in-game athletics photography. Please be advised that photographers assume all risk if entering the playing area of an athletics event.
