Brittany Hinz earned the Wheeling Jesuit Women’s Athlete of the Week Award after tossing a no-hitter against Bluefield State College.
 
On Friday, April 20, the Wheeling Jesuit softball team swept Bluefield State College, and did not allow a hit during the doubleheader. Hinz earned the second no-hitter of the day after Erika Jusko and Ashley Nichols shared the honor in game one.
 
Hinz faced 21 Bluefield State batters in a five-inning complete game appearance. The sophomore from Madison, Ohio allowed only five Blues to touch first base by walks, and she sent nine batters back to the dugout on three pitches.
