Erika Jusko has been selected as the Wheeling Jesuit Women's Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play on the softball diamond during the week of March 12-18.
The sophomore from Euclid, Ohio opened the week with a pair of homeruns, forcing extra-innings in the Cardinals 9-8 victory over Gannon University to salvage a split. Jusko blasted two more homeruns over the weekend at the Salem, Va. Tournament as Wheeling Jesuit went 2-3 with wins over Bowie State,11-8, and Chowan, 13-10.
For the week, Jusko was 7-for-18, finishing with a .388 batting average which included four homeruns, eight RBI and eight runs scored.
