Tyler Buchan has been selected as the Wheeling Jesuit Men’s Athlete of the Week for his performance in St. Charles, Mo. on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21.
Buchan, a midfielder on the men’s lacrosse team, lifted the Cardinals’ offense with back-to-back hat trick performances against Adams State College and Lindenwood University. The freshman from Burnaby, British Columbia in Canada earned seven points over the weekend which included six goals and an assist.
Against Adams State, Buchan connected with the back of the net on half of his shots, scoring three goals on six attempts, and a day later versus Lindenwood, he was at it again. Buchan torched the Grizzlies for three goals on four shots and added an assist.
