Ann Arbor, MI. - Three members of the Wheeling University Track and Field team went up to Ann Arbor to face B1G 10 competition.
Madison Conrad,
Magnus Polkner, and
Hunter Tomich competed.
The day was headlined by
Magnus Polkner's performance. Polkner ran in the 800, finishing in 1:54.38. This time set a season best for Polkner. Not only was this a season best but it broke the Wheeling school record in the 800. Polkner finished 3rd place in this event behind only a runner from the University of Michigan and an unattached runner.
Madison Conrad ran in the women's 1 mile finishing in 5:31.06.
Hunter Tomich was the final of the three Wheeling runners to compete. Tomich ran in the Men's 3000 and finished in 9:28.55. These 3 are scheduled to run again on February 14th at the Spire Indoor Collegiate Games in Geneva Ohio.
