Huntington, WV. - The Wheeling Men's Track and Field team wrapped up their indoor season as a team today. There were 2 individual events and 1 relay that the Cardinals competed in.

Jacob Legg got the Cardinals off on the right foot, setting a PR on his first jump of the day clearing 1.7 meters. He then raised the bar up to 1.75 meters. He was unable to clear the bar on his first two jumps but on his third attempt he cleared the bar, breaking his season best once more. He was unable to clear 1.8 meters and finished in 13th place with a height of 1.75 meters.

Magnus Polkner was the other Cardinal to compete individually. He ran the 800 and finished in 12th place with a time of 1.57.73. Both Polkner and Legg also ran in the 4x400 relay team who was unfortunately disqualified for throwing of the baton.

The Cardinals will return to action next in the outdoor Track and Field season.
