Youngstown, OH. - The Wheeling University men's track and field team competed in a full slate of events this weekend, highlighted by personal-best performances on the track and solid efforts in the field. It would be the second day in a row the Cardinals would have 2 PR's, and the second day in a row with a Magnus Polkner PR.

Polkner broke his own school record yesterday in the 1000 meter run. Today, he set a PR in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.02 seconds, breaking his previous best by a whole second. The mile run brought the Cardinals another PR from Tyler Crook. He would PR at 5:13.60. Reddick Moore also competed in the mile and finished in 4:58.65.

Felix Manyani and Marcelin Tote competed in the long jump, finishing at 5.38 and 5.33 meters respectively. Erick Berroa and Kris Vigars ran the 200 meter dash in 23.58 and 24.28 seconds. Tyler Crook also ran the 800 and finished in 2:28.18.

The Cardinals will return to Kent Ohio next weekend, Feb 6th and 7th, for the Doug Raymond Invitational.
