WHEELING, W.Va. (Feb. 22) - Wheeling University seniors Emmarie Foote (Twinsburg, Ohio/Twinsburg) and Brian Vandusen (Monongahela, Pa./Ringgold) were named the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Women's & Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week announced the league office Monday afternoon.

At the Hillsdale Tune-up this past weekend, Foote placed third overall with a time of 7.91 seconds in the 60-meter dash and also added a second overall placing in the 200-meter dash at 25.87 seconds.

Vandusan won the long jump at the Hillsdale Tune-Up. The Ringgold alum won the event with a mark of 6.79 meters (22 feet, 3.5 inches).
