Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WHEELING, W.Va. - The Wheeling Jesuit Volleyball team swept through all their opponents at the MEC/PSAC crossover tournament, going 2-0 on day 2, and 4-0 on the weekend, and didn't lose a match in the process, winning all games 3-0. Jesuit relied on the attacking abilities of their young team to run through their opponents unscathed. 

The Cardinals got their day underway with a victory over Edinboro University, running out to a 25-7 victory in the first game. The Fighting Scots pushed the Cards in game 2, but eventually WJU wore down the visitors and came away with a 25-21 win. The Cardinals finished out the game with a 25-14 win in the third set, taking the 3-0 win. 

Leading the offensive attack for the Cardinals were Kayce Krucki, Haley Kindall, and Emma Schleucher, all freshmen, who had 10 kills apiece. Krucki led the cardinals with 24 total attacks on the day.

In the last game of the afternoon, the hometown Cardinals were equally impressive against the Shippensburg Raiders. WJU again took the match in 3 sets, 25-8, 25-17, and 25-21. Leading the Cards in kills were Kindall, Jenna Pew, and Schleucher with 9, 11, and 8 kills respectively. 

The wins put WJU at 10-3 on the season. 

Up next for the Cardinals is a home double header on Tuesday, September 24th against local, and Mountain East Conference foe West Liberty University, and the University of Pitt - Johnstown. The first match against the Hilltoppers is scheduled for a 5:30pm start at WJU's McDonough Center.
