WHEELING, W.Va.---This coming weekend the Wheeling Jesuit volleyball team and the West Liberty volleyball team will co-host the 2013 MEC/PSAC Crossover tournament on Friday, September 20^th and Saturday, September 21^st on the campuses of both schools.

The crossover tournament will include a variety of different teams from across the region including Edinboro, Kutztown, Shippensburg, Charleston, Farimont State, and Slippery Rock in addition to the host teams.

For the Cardinals, Coach Christy Benner and her squad will be looking to improve on their 6-3 overall record. The Cards will have home court advantage for the first time this season in all four of their tournament matches.

Coach Benner says she is looking forward to hosting the tournament, and finally getting the chance to play in the friendly confines of the McDonough Center. "I'm very excited to have the PSAC teams come to Wheeling this year. I'm looking forward to seeing some great matchups and to playing in front of our home fans," she said. "It's crucial we play against strong regional competition to develop our young team."

The Wheeling Jesuit Athletic Training Club will also be selling concessions on the campus of WJU. All proceeds from sales and donations will go to the Kevin Figaniak Scholarship fund.
