Women's Soccer Falls in Final Minute

Box Score WHEELING, W.Va. --- The Wheeling Jesuit women's soccer team (0-3, 0-1) fell in the final minute of play on the road against Alderson-Broaddus College (1-1-1, 1-0). The Battlers' Megan Johnson scored the goal in the final minute of regulation.
 
Jesuit goalkeeper Holly Kraus collected six saves in the 90-minute contest while AB's Kate Laird had one save. Jesuit attempted seven shots compared to AB's 11 shots as WJU's Aliya Kureishy led with three shots and Jessie Vilkofsky followed with two.
 
The Cardinals will be on the road Saturday, Sept. 8 against West Chester University. Kick off is scheduled for 11 a.m.
