Henrique Fructuozo Named Appalachian Swimming Conference Swimmer of the Week

Fructuozo won three events in leading the Cardinals to a dual meet victory against Grove City College. The senior started the day swimming splitting 28.18 on the winning 200 Medley Relay (1:40.02). In his individual events he would finish first in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 55.56 and first in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:14.88.  In his last event of the day, he led-off the “B” 200 Freestyle Relay (1:33.81) with a split of 23.45. Fructuozo is currently ranked third in the 500 Freestyle (4:51.29), first in the 1650 Freestyle (17:05.55), sixth in the 100 Backstroke (55.56), and first in the 400 IM (4:13.88) in the ASC.
