Corey Luebbe earned WJU Athlete of the Week for is performance against Roberts Wesleyan College.

Luebbe was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defensive Player of the Week for his performance as announced by the league's office. Luebbe led the Wheeling Jesuit men's lacrosse team's defensive efforts in a 14-6 victory over Roberts Wesleyan College.
 
The sophomore from Centerville, Ohio was all over the field, creating numerous fast breaks for the Cardinal offense. Luebbe secured a team-high nine ground balls and caused three turnovers. Luebbe currently ranks first on the team in caused turnovers with 21 and third in ground balls with 36.

Wheeling Jesuit will be back in action on Saturday, April 20 in North Canton, Ohio against Walsh University. Face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
