Robbie Davia, a junior from Cadiz, Ohio, earned the Wheeling Jesuit Men’s Athlete of the Week Award for his performances on the baseball field during the week of April 9-15 against West Virginia State University and the University of Pitt-Johnstown.
Davia led the Cardinal offense to three victories, one over state and two over Pitt-Johnstown, with a .470 batting average, collecting eight hits and nine RBI while scoring five runs. He blasted three homeruns last week, which included two round trippers in the same inning against UPJ, collecting five RBI.
To date, Davia is batting .298 with 31 hits, including six doubles, four homeruns, one triple and seven walks.
