WHEELING, W. Va.(Oct. 15) - The Wheeling University Men's Rugby (1-3, 0-3) team looks to snap their two-match losing streak at home versus the St. Bonaventure University Bonnies (3-2, 2-1).
Wheeling in their last match against Walsh University last week would fall to the Cavaliers 16-13 in the low-scoring contest.
Seniors Alex Nyamunda and Taku Musingwini will once again be key pieces in this matchup, as both of them led Wheeling in the scoring categories versus Walsh.
The Cardinals will also look for juniors Connor De Beer, Mychal Andrews, and sophomore Josh Parcell, who have all scored a try in the few matches.
This will be the first matchup this season versus St. Bonaventure; Wheeling is 5-5 versus the Bonnies in the last 10 matches. In the last matchup, the Cardinals took the loss at St. Bonaventure last season, 50-25.
Wheeling will also celebrate and honor the seniors before tomorrow's contests, as it will be Senior Night. The contest's kick-off is scheduled for 6:30p.m. at Bishop Schmitt Field.
