INDIANAPOLIS, Ind(Sept. 11)- The Wheeling University Cardinals Men's Rugby team traveled to the Hoosier State this past weekend for their first road contest of the season against the University of Indiana Hoosiers. The Cardinals came home with the victory over the Hoosiers, 39-24.  

Senior Shadreck Mandaza led the charge for Wheeling scoring four Try's in the contest combining for 20 points on the afternoon.  

Senior Taku Musingwini had another good kicking day converting three Try's along with two penalty kicks earning himself 13 points.  

Sophomore Josh Parcel and junior Mychal Andrews chipped in as well earning themselves a Try of their own in the contest.  

Wheeling moved to 1-1 in the young 15's season and now move to 5-2 overall against the Hoosiers dating back to 2016.  

The Cardinals will be at home for their next contest on Saturday, Sept. 26 against Kutztown University.
