The Cardinal's take on Walsh as they continue their Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) play on Saturday, and that defense looks to continue to be at the forefront of their success. The early defense was key to keeping the Cardinals in front as Lake Erie came back with three goals in the second quarter, and the Cardinals answered with two of their own to hold a 4-3 lead heading into the break. As the teams broke from the locker room, offense was hard to come by in the third quarter, with no one scoring over the first 12 minutes.
