Wheeling, W. Va. – With the first academic semester wrapped up, Wheeling University honored some of its highest classroom achievers with the release of the Fall 2024 Dean's List. The Wheeling University Athletic Department had another big semester in the classroom, with several teams posting team GPAs of 3.0 or higher, and it was reflected on this year's list. In total, the Cardinals had a record 239 athletes recognized with the additon of three new sports heading into the mix. As the athletics department continues to grow, the Cardinals continue to challenge themselves for success both on the field and in the classroom.
"It is exciting to once again have a record number of students make the Dean's List for the Fall 2024 season," said Wheeling University Athletic Director Carrie Hanna. "We strive to help our students grow both on and off the field and to see that success translate into the classroom shows that that hard work is paying off."
