COACH'S COMMENTS
  • "I was really happy with the way the guys played today. Franciscan is a strong team with a history of success so it was a good showing for us. We were all very excited to bring rugby back to Bishop Schmitt field in front of our fans after nearly 900 days without a home match. It was an interesting week transitioning to play 10s and now going back to 7s, but we will take our positives and negatives from today and work on them in our training going forward. We're looking to keep building throughout the next few weeks and be at our best when we head to Tropical 7s over Easter Weekend." ~ Head Coach Mike Geibel
  • "It is a good feeling to get my first win at home and I know the new guys all feel the same. It's a bit of a weight off our shoulders to get the first one out of the way." ~ Head Coach Mike Geibel
