Cardinals Look to Weather Storm for Fourth Win in a Row

WHEELING, W.Va. – Three straight wins are good, but four is better. Wheeling Jesuit looks to weather the Lake Erie College Storm and turn around the series between the two men's lacrosse programs.

The Cardinals (4-7) have put together three strong performances and will need their strongest for a fourth. The No. 19 Storm (6-4) bring their own four-game win streak into Saturday's 1 p.m. matchup at Bishop Schmitt Field.

WJU also attempts to turn around its fortune against Lake Erie College. The Storm has claimed wins in each of the last five matches, including a 22-13 season-ending victory last May 1^st. The Cardinals did record a 12-7 road win in the 2012 meeting.

The Cardinals' resurgence in the last three matches has been by a combined 49-18 goal total. This margin includes last Saturday's 18-6 victory over Ohio Valley.

The Storm has prevailed in each of their last four matches and five of the last six. LEC edged No. 15 Seton Hill, 10-9, last Saturday.
