Box Score Philadelphia University scored the only goal of the game with less than 3min left on the clock to secure their home opener over the visiting Cardinals. The home team came out fast and furious in the opening half and dominated the stats and possession.
The Cardinals struggled to get a grip on the game and looked tired and sluggish in the opening stanza. "We were lucky to get out of the half tied at 0-0" Coach Regan said. "I think the late overtime game Thursday and long travel had an affect on our performance."
