Hot Shooting Sees Jesuit Basketball Past Urbana

Box Score URBANA, Ohio -- Wheeling Jesuit shot a sizzling 56 percent form the field in a 77-67 win over Urbana on Thursday night.
Andre Harris led the way for the Cardinals with 20 points and seven rebounds. Eric Siefert added 19 points, five assists and four rebounds. Matt Stewart notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Justin Fritts recorded 13 points and five assists.
Urbana's Danny Goins went for a game-high 26 points to lead the Blue Knights. Casey Baker scored nine points and pulled down 17 rebounds, including 14 on the offensive end. 
WJU out-scored Urbana 44-30 in the paint and had assists on 19 of its 28 field goals. 
Wheeling Jesuit out-scored Urbana 19-6 in the first five minutes to seize control of the game. Urbana battled back over the next 15 minutes to knot the score at 36-36 at the break.
In the second half, it was Urbana that went out to a quick start in the first five minutes and held a 47-42 advantage. WJU didn't take the lead back until a three-pointer by Chase Lawson put the Cards up 61-50 with 5:31 to play. Leading by just two with 46 seconds left, Harris buried a three-pointer to put the game out of reach and secure the victory for Wheeling Jesuit.
