Wheeling University Athletics Hall of Fame

I.    MISSION
The mission of the Wheeling University Athletic Hall of Fame, located in the McDonough Center, is to honor outstanding achievements and contributions by individuals and teams to the athletic program and to promote athletic leadership and personal excellence at Wheeling University.
 
II.    CRITERIA FOR HALL OF FAME MEMBERSHIP
 
  1. Athlete Nominations: A Wheeling University athlete becomes eligible ten (10) years after their athletic eligibility has been exhausted. 
  2. Coach Nominations: Must have been a member of the coaching staff at the University for a minimum of five (5) years.
  3. Special Contributor Nominations: Recognition of individuals who have greatly contributed to Wheeling University Athletics including; faculty, staff, administrator or friend of the athletics program.
  4. Team Nominations: Recognition of Wheeling Athletic Teams that made significatn contrbutions to their team's history
  5. Lifetime Achievement Nominations: The nominee has made outstanding athletic, professional or civic accomplishments after leaving Wheeling University.
