Cardinal Multi-event athlete Julia Novotny is the WJU athlete of the week after placing 2^nd overall in the MEC Heptathlon over the weekend.

Novotny claimed second by setting a new school record in the Heptathlon with 4170 points, bolstered by another school record and personal best in the Javelin at 40.42M, also an NCAA Provisional mark.

Novotny also set a new personal best in the Long Jump with a 4.57M leap.
