WHEELING, W.Va. (Oct. 31) - The time is finally upon us, as the debut of the Wheeling University women's Wrestling team is tomorrow. The group will travel to Tiffin, Ohio to compete in the Tiffin Open invitational. 

The tournament will consist of teams from the Division I level to the Junior College Level. 

Wheeling will send six wrestlers to the mat led by junior Shanielah Kirk, who won 19 matches a year ago with the Bethany College Bisons wrestling in the 180-lb weight class. 

The other weight class participants, sophomore's Alexia Beadle and Anastasia Curitti, will step into the wrestling ring in the 124-lb weight class. Sophomore Malia Tocco will compete in the 131-lb weight class. Freshman Annalis Ortez-Pierce will compete in the 138-lb class. And freshman Paige Russell will compete in the 160-lb weight class.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 at Heminger Center in Tiffin, Ohio.
