Early Pins Lead Cardinals to Second Dual Meet Win Against Washington & Jefferson

The freshman just kept things rolling at 141 with Jack Dinwiddie taking the mat. After the two circled early Dinwiddie would Make his move with a takedown at the 30 second mark, and was able to gain control on top of his opponent. He would end up recording the fastest pinfall of the night, besting his opponent in 1:08 and the Cardinals jumped out to an 18-0 lead. They would end up adding six more points to that in the 149lb weight class, with Mannix Wasco earning a forfeit victory And just like that the Cardinals were out in front 24-0 with six bouts to go. The most exciting match of the night would come in the 157lb weight class as Wheeling's Bradley Spencer battled Washington & Jefferson's Josiah Gardner. The two wrestlers went back and forth throughout the three periods and Spencer would hold the lead late at 4-2. However, in the final second of that third period, Gardner would earn a takedown that flipped the scoreboard and gave the Presidents their first three points of the night.

As the weight classes went up, the competition got more fierce, and Washington & Jefferson won their second match of the night at 165lb.
