Wilson, NC. – After a big doubleheader sweep on day one of their trip down to Wilson, North Carolina, the Wheeling University Baseball team (7-3, 0-0) will have to take a pause on Saturday. Wide spread rain across the east coast has postponed their nine inning game against Clarion this morning. A make-up date has yet to be determined and the team will announce it at a later date.

Hunter Dyck and
Sebastian Khan to close things out. The duo threw the final four shutout innings, with Dyck working 2.2 and striking out three while Khan struck out all four batters he faced over 1.1 innings.
On the offensive side, it was a big day once again for
Scott Kondroik, as he combined to go 4-7 with a home run and five RBI across the two games. Kondroik has been the Cardinal's leading hitter this season, with his batting average soaring above the .460 mark in the early going. He is also second on the team with four home runs and is tied for second with 14 RBI across his first nine games. The Cardinals also got a big showing from
Aidan Willard, who finished 4-8 with a double, two runs scored, and three RBI.
