Lewisburg, PA. – The distance runners headlined day one of the Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday, but a different group stepped up to lead the way on day two of the event. Saturday featured a heavy dose of track events at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. The day kicked off with a strong showing in the Men's High Jump, and the Cardinals were able to roll with that momentum for the rest of the day.
The Cardinals had two different jumpers compete in the High Jump in sophomore
Andrew Taylor and senior
Brian Vandusen. Jackson would take home first place in the event for the second week in a row when he jumped 2.04 meters, .01 meters less than his mark from the previous week. He hit the height on his first try earning him the first place finish on the day. He also attempted jumps at 2.08 and 2.11 meters, but he was unable to hit those heights ending his night. Finishing right behind him was senior
Brian Vandusen who also reached the 2.04 meter mark on the day. However, he hit the mark on his second try of the day leading to Taylor getting the win and Vandusen taking home second. The jumpers started things out strong and the sprinters would take over from there.
Sprinter

He competed in both the 100-Meter and 200-Meter dashes finishing top six in both of those events. His best performance came in the 200-Meter when he finished fourth with a time of 21.59 seconds.
