ELKINS, W. Va. (Oct. 9) - The Wheeling University men's soccer team was dealt a 1-0 loss at Davis & Elkins Wednesday night in a Mountain East Conference (MEC) contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Davis & Elkins notched the only goal of the contest in the 14th-minute.
• High quality chances were hard to come by for the Cardinals in the first half, as they only collected two shots. 
• The lone Senator goal proved to be enough, as no goals were scored on 11 second half shots between the two teams.

• Sophomore goalkeeper James Serman (Auburndale, Fla./Auburndale) tallied two saves in the loss.
