WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Jesuit women's soccer team fell to West Virginia Wesleyan, 2-0, Thursday night.

"We did not do ourselves any favors tonight. We didn't create enough chances to pose a real threat," WJU head coach
Tyler Absalom stated.
WJU was unable to get any offense going throughout the match. The Cardinals (2-3-1/2-1-1 Mountain East Conference) best opportunity came in the 20
th minute of the game when freshman
Karly Judy banged a shot off of the right post.
Sydney Lavengood also saw a shot miss wide in the 57
th minute of the match. Over the 90 minutes of play, WJU recorded just two shots.
The Bobcats (5-0 / 3-0 MEC) recorded goals in the 19
th and 56
th minutes of the match.

The Cardinals return to action on Thursday, Sept. 24 when they travel to Notre Dame College of Ohio.
