SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – After less than 17 hours off, Wheeling Jesuit was able to blank Notre Dame College, 3-0, and clinch at least part of the Mountain East Conference regular season volleyball title Saturday.

The No. 7 ranked Cardinals (27-3) ran their MEC record to 14-0 with the straight-sets win over the Falcons (2-24/1-13 MEC) by scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 25-11. The win guarantees WJU at least a part of the MEC regular season title as the University of Charleston and Fairmont State both have 12-2 conference records with all teams having two more league games remaining next weekend.

Kayce Krucki led the WJU attack with nine kills, a .500 hit percentage and seven digs. Lauran Graves chipped in sevenkills, while Emma Schleucher and Allegra Shippy added six apiece.

WJU travels for a tough Wednesday night, Nov. 11, match at the University of Findlay starting at 7 p.m.
