Box Score Athens, W.Va. – The Wheeling Jesuit Women's Basketball team turned in a total team performance with four players in double digits to win their second road game in a row, 76-62, at the Carter Center on the campus of Concord University.
Freshman guard
Cassi Stein had 16 points, two assists, four rebounds, and two steals to lead the Cardinals.
Sophomore guard
Kylie Frizell had 15 points, three rebounds, and three steals in 30 minutes of play.
Junior guard
Jaila Bryant had 14 points, posted five rebounds, and made all eight shots she attempted from the foul line.
Finally, sophomore forward
Jaana Motton had her first double double of the season hitting the boards for 11 rebounds and finishing the game with 12 total points.
Wheeling Jesuit had a four point lead at the intermission and never trailed following

Kylie Frizell at the 13:54 mark of the second half.
WJU was dominant in the paint outpacing Concord University 28 points to 14. Jesuit was also dominant from the charity stripe down the stretch. The Cardinals made 83.3% of their foul shots in the second half.
"In both of our games on the road we faced adversity and we pulled together to get two big road victories. Tonight we had nine players who all contributed by playing valuable minutes and scoring at big times in the game. In the face of adversity we have players that are really stepping up," stated Head Coach Deb Buff.
The Jesuit victory moves the Cardinals' overall record to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the Mountain East Conference. The Women's Basketball team returns to action when they return to the McDonough Center on Thursday night for a 5:30pm tipoff against the Fairmont State Falcons.
