Box Score SALEM, V.A. – The Wheeling Jesuit softball team's run of three-straight post season wins came to an end on Saturday night in the consolation round semifinal at the Mountain East Conference championship tournament with a tense 3-5 loss to the Urbana Blue Knights. 
The Cardinals rattled off three wins in a row in the MEC tournament, knocking off Charleston, Concord, and taking revenge on Notre Dame College, who beat them in the first game of the tourney. The loss to Urbana wraps up the Cardinals season with an overall record of 19-33. 
The Blue Knights (28-20-1) will take on West Virginia Wesleyan tomorrow at 10 a.m. for the right to play UVa-Wise for the MEC Championship. 
Urbana held a 2-1 lead after two innings, but Wheeling Jesuit pushed two runs across from a fielding error that brought in 
Angie Reddick and Loriane Tharp in the top of the third to take back the lead. 
The Cardinals remained in control until the Blue Knights rallied for three in the bottom of the fifth. Katelyn Edwards' two-run single sparked the comeback for UU in the inning, and Ashley Skinner drove in the other run. 
UU starter Haley Kolmerten (17-11) came on in relief and only allowed two hits and kept WJU scoreless in 4.2 innings of work. 
Jarah Ice went 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Cardinals (19-33). 
Erika Jusko (7-12) took the loss giving up five runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
