Box Score PAINSVILLE, Ohio---The Wheeling Jesuit women's lacrosse team fell to the Storm of Lake Erie College on Sunday afternoon by a score of 23-1. The Cardinals finished the regular season 5-12 overall and 3-5 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.
 
Lake Erie opened the game with three goals before Jesuit rattled the cage. At 21:21, WJU's Kassidy Forsen connected with the back of the net while Allie Fetty assisted the Cardinal goal. The following five minutes were scorelss, however, the Storm offense surged for 10 unanswered goals before the half ended. Lake Erie led 13-1 at halftime.
 
The second half was all Lake Erie as the Storm recorded 10 additional goals and held the Cardinals to no shot attempts. WJU goalie Hannah Lazuka collected six saves in the loss.
 
Wheeling Jesuit will play in the GLIAC's postseason tournament and game dates and times are TBA.
