Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio---The Wheeling Jesuit women's lacrosse game on Friday afternoon against the University of Findlay was moved to 9:30 p.m. at Tiffin University. The Cardinals (4-8, 2-2 GLIAC) fell 13-12 to the Oilers (3-10, 1-3 GLIAC).
Wheeling Jesuit established an early 1-0 lead as Christina Bass buried an unassisted goal at 26:55. The Oilers responded with three consecutive goals, but WJU's
Jessie Tufnell kept the game close with an unassisted goal, 3-2. Findlay answered with four more goals, and WJU's Allie Fetty buried a free position shot. Findlay scored again and
Shelby McClure netted the Cardinals' fourth goal. The Oilers increased the lead to 9-4; however, the Cardinals ended the half with two goals to cut the UF's lead to 9-6.
Jesuit carried the momentum into the second half as Fetty rattled the cage twice. Findlay answered with a goal, and Jesuit fired back with two, tying the game 10-10, as Tufnell and
Sara Fitzsimon found the back of the net.

Molly Parker interrupted Findlay's two-goal run, keeping the Cardinals within one goal with 8:05 left to play, 12-11. Findlay scored again, and Tufnell answered with 3:57 remaining in regulation. WJU was unable to score in the closing minutes, eventually falling 13-12.

Wheeling Jesuit will be back in action on Sunday, April 14 in North Canton, Ohio against Walsh University. First draw is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
