Cardinal Softball Finishes Rebel Spring Games

Kissimmee, Fla.---The Wheeling Jesuit softball team drop their final doubleheader of the Rebel Spring Games on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals fell 12-3 to Ferris State University and dropped game two to Ashland University by score of 9-0.

In game one, the Cardinals scattered six hits around the yard led by Skylar Berger's 2-for-3 performance which included a RBI. WJU pitcher Angie Reddick earned the loss.

In game two, Ashland pitcher Sarah Alley hurled a complete 5-inning perfect game, allowing no hits, no runs and no batters to reach base.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Tuesday, March 12 against Cedarville University at the I-470 Complex, Lisa's Field. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
