Emily Martin was named ASC Swimmer of the week for the second time of the 2011 season for her performances at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Invititational.

Martin rewrote the WJU swimming history book, eclipsing the school’s100 butterfly record with a time of 58.44. 

In addition, she finished third (2:12.44) in the 200 yard butterfly event and played a major role in the Cardinals fourth place finish with a 500 Free time of 5:14.49.

On the second day of competition, Martin notched a second place finish in the 100 Fly with a time of 54.74 and was also part of three relay teams which sported a second and two third place finishes.

Paige Carpenetti, Casey Hamilton, and Lydia Kidd joined Martin in the 400 (2nd) and 200 (3rd) medley relays while Jessica Steve and Meghan Ebbert were on the 800 (3rd) freestyle relay team.
