WHEELING, W.Va. – After helping the baseball team to two walk-off hits on Sunday, Brock McGivern is this week’s WJU Male Athlete of the Week!

Brock began the day with a walk-off single the 13th inning of game one, giving WJU its 2-1 win over Fairmont State.

In game two, the senior second baseman tallied two hits and four RBI’s. He also scored the game-winning run off a base hit by Dillon Sunnafrank. He finished the evening with three hits, five RBI’s, two runs scored, and a pair of stolen bases.

On the season, McGivern is hitting .277 with 23 hits and 11 RBI’s.
