The first 2017-18 WJU Female Athlete of the Week is volleyball's Cassie Meyer. The freshman earned West Florida Invitational All-Tournament team after she downed 69 kills (4.31 k/set), two double-doubles, four matches of 16 or more kills and a weekend-best 19 kills and 16-dig effort against No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State.
