Dominick Nania has been named the WJU male Athlete of the Week following his performances a week ago.

Nania reversed a potential opponent takedown into his own fall of Pitt-Johnstown's Travis Shaffer on Friday night. He followed this performance up with a 17-2 tech fall victory over East Stroudsburg's Eric Januszkiewicz.

On the season, Nania leads the Cardinals with 21 victories, and has now topped 20 wins in each of the past two seasons. His victories include 10 falls and 7 tech falls.

Dom and the WJU wrestling team return to action on February 5 when they host No. 1 ranked Notre Dame College at 7 p.m.
