Ryan Martin enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant in the Sports Information Department as a member of Zack Zeigler 's Staff.
Martin comes to Wheeling after graduating from Waynesburg University in December 2025 with an athletic communications/sports information degree. While at Waynesburg, he assisted with game day operations within the Waynesburg University Sports Information Department for the past three and a half years. He wrote many stories for teams such as lacrosse, cross-country, baseball, and soccer during his time with the Yellow Jackets.
While studying at Waynesburg, Martin was a media relations and video production intern with the Washington Wild Things for a summer. He worked within the media relations department with the Wild Things, and assisted as part of the GameDay Street crew.
Ryan Martin is originally from Rhinebeck, New York. His passion for sports started in high school when he started playing football and baseball. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Business Administration at Wheeling University.
