Kacey Toto enters her second full season as a member of Christy Schoolcraft's Athletic Training Staff during the 2024-2025 season.
Toto served as Schoolcraft's full-time assistant athletic trainer during the 2023-2024 season, and was on the field for several big runs for Wheeling Athletic teams. Most notably, she traveled with the Wheeling Rugby team to Maryland and helped them to the 2024 NCR 7's National Championship. Toto worked closely with the Wheeling Rugby team and Women's Basketball teams throughout the season, as well as assisting with the other 19 varsity sports teams.
Kacey will assist with the rehab and coverage of all 22 Wheeling University Athletic varsity sports, including game coverage, practice coverage, and student-athlete treatment.
Prior to her time at Wheeling, Toto worked with the Washington Spine, Disc, and Joint Center assisting with patient rehab efforts. Toto is an alumni of Wheeling University, graduating with her degree in Athletic Training in 2021. Along wth her duties as Athletic Trainer at Wheeling, Toto also serves as an Athletic Trainer at Ohio Health. Her career has also seen stops with both Martins Ferry High School and Wheeling Hospital.
