Joshua Clingan enters his first season at Wheeling as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant in 2026.
Clingan arrives after four-plus years of hard work and dedication at Waynesburg University as a student worker in Sports Information.
He worked over 160 games during his time at Waynesburg, mainly for football, basketball, baseball/softball, volleyball, and soccer.
In December 2025, Clingan graduated from Waynesburg with a degree in Sports Media: Sports Information/Athletic Communication.
The Cypress, California native brings in three years of experience working in professional sports with the Washington Wild Things(Frontier League) as a media relations intern as well as official stat keeper and the Winston-Sale Dash(High A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox) as a production worker.
Prior to Waynesburg, Clingan graduated from Cypress High School in 2021, where he was also a member of the basketball program for four years.
He comes from a family of athletes, as his mother, Michelle, ran track and his father, Jack, played baseball and basketball.
