Rua Karimazondo enters his second season as a Graduate Assistant and will work with the Wheeling Women's Rugby program.
Karimazondo was a member of the Wheeling Men's Rugby program since his freshman year. In his collegiate career, Karimazondo has recorded 13 tries for 65 points and was a member of the 2024 CRC 7's National Championship team. Karimazondo has numerous awards and honors to his name, including his first ever NCR All-American honor in 2024, a two-time NCR Scholastic All-American, a place on the Goff Rugby Report D1 Hot 100 List, and was selected to be part of the Pittsburgh U23 team and the Zimbabwe U20 National team in 2022.
