Bailey Frederick enters her third season as Assistant Women's Golf Coach under Sue Vail during the 2022-2023 season. After a stellar four-year career with the Red and Black, Frederick is now passing on her talents to the next generation of women's golfers.
During the 2021-22 season, she helped the team to their best performance in program history as they made a team appearance at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championships. She helped coach Emily Holzopfel to the MEC's Women's Golfer of the Year Award and helped the program secure their third MEC Championship.
During the COVID-shortened 2021 spring season, Frederick helped lead Wheeling to a third place finish at the 2021 MEC Spring Championships, and helped three women's golfers earn All-MEC Honors. Emily Holzopfel, Zoila Herrera, and Camilla Ariano all earned All-MEC Honorees during the season with the help and guidance of Frederick.
During her time on the course for Wheeling, Frederick was a very decorated player for the Cardinals. She was a three-time All-MEC Second Team honoree, and helped lead the team to top three finishes in three consecutive MEC Championship Tournaments.
