Wheeling University Athletics

Keshyra McCarver enters her second year with the Wheeling University women's basketball program.

Keshyra comes from Toledo, Ohio, where she attended Whitmer High School. She then attended Purdue Fort Wayne University where she graduated and earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies. While at Purdue Fort Wayne Keshyra played for the Mastodons under Coach Niecee Nelson. There she was team captain her senior year while playing in 111 games over her career.  In addition, she was named to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll her junior and senior year.

Keshyra comes with coaching experience as she coached for the Toledo Elite AAU basketball program. 

Her duties include strength and conditioning, defense, and post players.

While serving as a coach for the women’s basketball team, she is pursuing Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
