Carli Codner-Pinto enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach at Wheeling University in 2020-21.
 
Codner-Pinto arrived in Wheeling after spending one season as an assistant coach at Owens Community College.

The Columbus, Ohio native played for two seasons at Cumberland University in Tennessee. She was the team’s leading scorer her senior season and helped the Phoenix reach the 2018 NAIA Tournament.
 
Codner-Pinto began her playing career at Columbus State Community College where she was a NJCAA All-American and helped lead the Cougars to a regional championship and district runner-up finish. She was the first women’s basketball player in program history to receive All-America honors and left Columbus State as the all-time leading scorer with 1,094 points in two seasons.
 
A graduate of Northland High School, Codner-Pinto has an associate’s degree from Columbus State and earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Cumberland.
