Alexis Reed enters her second season as a Graduate Assistant on Head Coach Anna Kowalska's Women's Basketball Coaching Staff during the 2023-24 season.
Reed assists in several aspects of the Wheeling University basketball team, including efforts on both offense and defense. Reed helped lead the Cardinals to the MEC Tournament during her first season and works closely with the team's guards. She helped freshman Kenzie Dalton begin a strong freshman season and helped Shamia Strayhorn earn the first All-MEC honors of her career.
She played 4 years at the University of Pikeville and was named 2nd team all conference during her senior season.
Alexis Reed, is from Maysville Kentucky and is the daughter of Adam and Tera Reed. She played high school basketball at Mason County High School and was named 2nd team all region. she is the oldest of 6 and in her free time she likes to hangout with her family and friends.
Reed is currently pursuing her Master's of Business Administration at Wheeling University.
