Casey Crawford

Casey beings her first year as a Graduate Assistant coach for the Wheeling Jesuit Softball team. Crawford will be assisting the Cardinal outfielders and first basemen.

Crawford is a graduate of West Virginia State University, where she was a member of the softball team for 4 years. She graduated with a degree in Education and a content specialization in Physical Education and Health Education (K-12).

In her years at West Virginia State University, Crawford was a three year team captain and starter in centerfield. As a junior, she was a member of the program’s first ever regular season WVIAC Conference Championship and NCAA Regional Tournament appearance. As a senior, she earned All-Conference Honorable Mention, while playing a full season without committing an error. She was also a member of the cheerleading squad and the Jackets golf team for one year.

Crawford was an assistant softball coach for Wayne High School while also teaching there for three years. During her time at Wayne High School, she was able to assist in coaching the team to three sectional championships, one regional championship and one WV AA State Championship.

Crawford will be pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership from WJU, in hopes to one day become a principal.
